Compare the 3 tiers of this drink

Same drink, three ways. Ingredient-Honest is our top recommendation -- Standard and Sugar-Free are the other options.

Uses Cold Brew Concentrate (Plain, No Protein) — make a batch ahead of time; it keeps in the fridge for a week or two, so you won't need to make it again for every drink.

    Ingredients & steps

    Sugar-Free

    Ingredients

    • 4oz Cold Brew Concentrate (homemade or store-bought)
    • 2 tbsp Sugar-Free Mocha Sauce (make a batch ahead of time -- it keeps about 2 weeks in the fridge)
    • 2oz cold heavy cream (36%+ milkfat)
    • 2oz cold whole milk (or milk alternative)
    • Ice (enough to fill a 16oz glass)

    Steps

    1. 1.Make a batch of Sugar-Free Mocha Sauce ahead of time if you haven't already -- it's a once-every-couple-weeks step, not a per-drink one.
    2. 2.Fill a 16oz glass with ice.
    3. 3.Pour 4oz cold brew concentrate over the ice, then stir in 2 tbsp of the sauce until dissolved.
    4. 4.In a separate small cup or jar, whisk together 2oz cold heavy cream and 2oz cold whole milk -- this is the light sweet cream blend. It should look just barely thickened, not whipped.
    5. 5.Pour the cream blend over the top and stir it all the way through, 2-3 stirs. Serve immediately with a straw.

Calorie figures on this page are estimates based on typical ingredient values, not a lab analysis of your exact batch — they'll shift with the brand of milk, syrup, or protein powder you actually use. This is the sugar-free build of our Mocha Cream Cold Brew — real unsweetened cocoa powder, sweetened with monk fruit or allulose instead of sugar, mixed into cold brew with a light poured cream.

The Same Honest Comparison as the Standard Tier

Chick-fil-A’s own Mocha Cream Cold Brew already runs lower calorie than their other three flavors — 290 small, 370 large, versus 520 flat for Vanilla, Caramel, and Toasted Marshmallow (fastfoodnutrition.org, sourced from Chick-fil-A’s own figures). That means this sugar-free version’s calorie cut, while real, reads as a smaller percentage than the other three sugar-free flavors in this family show against Chick-fil-A’s flat 520-calorie comparison point. It’s still a meaningful cut from both of Chick-fil-A’s sizes.

    Building the Drink

    1. Fill a 16oz glass with ice and pour 4oz Cold Brew Concentrate over it, then stir in 2 tbsp of the sugar-free mocha sauce until dissolved.
    2. Separately, whisk 2oz cold heavy cream with 2oz cold whole milk until just loosely combined.
    3. Pour the cream blend over the top and stir it all the way through. Serve immediately.

Chick-fil-A Mocha Cream Cold Brew, small290 cal
Chick-fil-A Mocha Cream Cold Brew, large370 cal
    Home Sugar-Free Mocha Cream Cold Brew~$1.38 / 249 cal

About 41-121 fewer calories (14-33% less) than Chick-fil-A’s small/large, and roughly $1.51-$1.91 saved per drink against their historical small/large pricing ($2.89-$3.29, location-variable).

Assumptions: unsweetened cocoa powder and monk fruit/allulose sweetener at typical grocery pricing, standard grocery heavy whipping cream (~$4.29/pint), and Kirkland Signature Organic A2 Whole Milk.

    Swaps & Notes

    • Most of this drink’s remaining calories are the cream blend, not the sauce. Swapping the milk half for unsweetened almond milk trims it further without touching the heavy cream that gives it body.

    FAQ

Why does this flavor show a smaller calorie cut than the other sugar-free flavors in this family?

Because Chick-fil-A’s own Mocha Cream Cold Brew is already their lightest cream cold brew — not because this recipe is less effective, but because the chain comparison point itself starts lower for mocha specifically.

Do I need to make a fresh batch of sauce for every drink?

No — the sauce batch keeps about 2 weeks and covers roughly 12 drinks.

Is the cost savings still worth it even with the smaller calorie gap?

Yes — cost savings hold up clearly across all three tiers of this flavor, even where the calorie percentage looks less dramatic.
