Be Your Own Barista respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from anyone using this site. We publish original articles, recipes, photos, and graphics, and we take both protecting our own work and respecting others' work seriously.

Reporting infringement

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, emailhello@beyourownbarista.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice" and include:

• A description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed
• The exact URL(s) on beyourownbarista.com where the material appears
• Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you're the rights owner or authorized to act for them
• Your physical or electronic signature

We'll review valid notices promptly and remove or disable access to the material in question.

Counter-notice

If content you posted or that identifies you was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with: the material removed and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and your signature. Depending on what we receive, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We don't currently host user-submitted content (no accounts, forum, or marketplace live yet), so this mostly covers our own published pages today. If community features launch in the future, this policy will extend to cover a repeat-infringer takedown process for user posts at that time.

Separately, if you'd like to license or reference our articles, recipes, or graphics beyond normal fair-use quoting (see our Terms of Service), reach out to the same address.
