Ingredients
- 2oz espresso (or 1/3 cup strong coffee/moka pot equivalent)
- 8oz milk, steamed or frothed
- 1 tbsp Sugar-Free Butter Pecan Syrup (make a batch ahead of time -- real butter, so it only keeps about 1 week in the fridge)
- 1 tbsp Sugar-Free Cinnamon Vanilla Syrup (make a batch ahead of time -- it keeps a full 2 weeks in the fridge)
- Optional: whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon or chopped toasted pecans for topping
Steps
- 1.Make a batch each of Sugar-Free Butter Pecan Syrup and Sugar-Free Cinnamon Vanilla Syrup ahead of time if you haven't already -- the butter pecan syrup has real butter in it and only keeps about 1 week, while the cinnamon vanilla syrup keeps a full 2 weeks.
- 2.Pull a double shot of espresso (or brew strong coffee) directly into your serving cup.
- 3.Stir in 1 tbsp of the sugar-free butter pecan syrup and 1 tbsp of the sugar-free cinnamon vanilla syrup while the espresso is still hot, until both are fully combined.
- 4.Steam or froth 8oz of milk to about 150°F and pour over the espresso mixture.
- 5.Top with whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon or chopped toasted pecans if using. Serve immediately.

The sugar-free version of our Butter Pecan Cinnamon Vanilla Latte — same toasted-pecan-and-butter against cinnamon-vanilla pairing, built from a monk fruit/allulose base in place of cane sugar in both syrups.
Make Both Bases First (Just Once)
This recipe assumes you already have a jar each of Sugar-Free Butter Pecan Syrup and Sugar-Free Cinnamon Vanilla Syrup in the fridge. The same shelf-life gap as the Standard tier applies here: the butter pecan syrup has real browned butter in it and only lasts about a week, while the cinnamon vanilla syrup keeps a full 2 weeks.
Building the Drink
- Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2oz) directly into your cup, or brew a strong coffee/moka pot equivalent.
- Stir in 1 tbsp each of the sugar-free butter pecan syrup and sugar-free cinnamon vanilla syrup while the espresso is still hot.
- Steam or froth 8oz of milk to about 150°F and pour it over the espresso mixture.
- Top with whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon or chopped toasted pecans if you want the full café look.
Assumptions: grande-size drink, national-average specialty-menu pricing for a two-flavor combo drink, dairy milk, $16/lb specialty beans or equivalent grocery beans. At 5 drinks a week over the site’s standard 48-week year, that’s roughly $1,197/year back in your pocket versus the café version.
Swaps & Notes
- No espresso machine? A moka pot or strong AeroPress shot works fine.
- Want the Standard (cane sugar) version instead? See the Butter Pecan Cinnamon Vanilla Latte.
- Want the Ingredient-Honest (real maple, real pecans) version? See the Ingredient-Honest Butter Pecan Cinnamon Vanilla Latte.
- Only have one of the two bases made? Make the Sugar-Free Butter Pecan Latte or Sugar-Free Cinnamon Vanilla Latte instead rather than doubling up on whichever jar you have.
- Iced version: use the Hot/Iced toggle above the ingredients to switch.

FAQ
Does the sugar-free version taste different from the Standard one?
Close, not identical — monk fruit/allulose sweeteners behave a little differently than cane sugar in browning and mouthfeel, but both syrups are built to match the Standard tier’s flavor as closely as possible. See each base syrup’s own page for the specific swap details.
Do both syrups keep the same length of time?
No — the Sugar-Free Butter Pecan Syrup has real browned butter in it and only keeps about a week, while the Sugar-Free Cinnamon Vanilla Syrup keeps a full 2 weeks, same gap as the Standard tier.
Can I make this without an espresso machine?
Yes — a moka pot, AeroPress, or even strong drip coffee works. See How to Make a Latte at Home for the no-machine method.
