Same drink, three ways. Ingredient-Honest is our top recommendation -- Standard and Sugar-Free are the other options.

Uses Maple White Chocolate Sauce — make a batch ahead of time; it keeps in the fridge for a week or two, so you won't need to make it again for every drink.

    Ingredients & steps

    Ingredient-Honest

Written hot. Switch to see the iced version's ingredients and steps.

    Ingredients

    • 2oz espresso (or 1/3 cup strong coffee/moka pot equivalent)
    • 8oz whole milk (or full-fat oat milk), steamed or frothed
    • 1 tbsp Maple White Chocolate Sauce (make a batch ahead of time -- it keeps about 1 week in the fridge)
    • 1 tbsp Maple Cranberry Orange Sauce (make a batch ahead of time -- it also keeps about 1 week)
    • Optional: whipped cream (real heavy cream, whipped -- canned whipped topping isn't part of this tier's ingredient standard) and a few dried cranberry pieces for topping

    Steps

    1. 1.Make a batch each of Maple White Chocolate Sauce and Maple Cranberry Orange Sauce ahead of time if you haven't already.
    2. 2.Pull a double shot of espresso (or brew strong coffee) directly into your serving cup.
    3. 3.Stir in 1 tbsp of each maple base while the espresso is still hot until fully combined.
    4. 4.Steam or froth 8oz of whole milk or full-fat oat milk to about 150°F and pour over the espresso mixture.
    5. 5.Top with whipped cream (real, not canned) and a few dried cranberry pieces if using. Serve immediately.

Not medical or nutrition advice. Calorie figures on this page are estimates based on typical ingredient values, not a lab analysis of your exact batch — they'll shift with the brand of milk, syrup, or protein powder you actually use. "Ingredient-Honest" and "sugar-free" describe what's in the recipe, not a health claim. If you're managing diabetes, a caffeine sensitivity, pregnancy, or another condition, check with a doctor or dietitian before making a recipe part of your routine. Read the full disclaimer.

Same tart-cranberry-and-white-chocolate pairing as our Standard Cranberry Orange White Mocha, rebuilt from Maple White Chocolate Sauce and Maple Cranberry Orange Sauce — real maple syrup doing the sweetening in both bases instead of cane sugar.

    What “Ingredient-Honest” Means Here

Real cranberries, real orange, and real maple syrup doing the work, no refined cane sugar in either base. It’s not a “diet” version like our Sugar-Free tier — calories land a bit higher than the Standard version because maple syrup isn’t meaningfully lower-calorie than cane sugar.

Swapping the Milk? Here’s the Honest Read on Each Option

Milk swap-ins here get graded against the same bar as everything else on this site, and that verdict doesn’t change by flavor — a clean almond milk is clean whether it’s going into this cranberry orange white mocha or any other recipe. Rather than reprint the full rundown on every page, we keep the actual brand-by-brand findings in one place: see the Ingredient-Honest Registry for exactly which oat, soy, almond, rice, and dairy picks Pass, Fail, or carry a condition — including the specific reason each failing brand doesn’t make the cut. Short version for this recipe: stick with Kirkland Signature Organic A2 Whole Milk above, or swap in one of the registry’s Pass picks instead.

Make Both Bases First (Just Once)

This recipe assumes you already have a jar each of Maple White Chocolate Sauce and Maple Cranberry Orange Sauce in the fridge. Both keep about a week — fresh dairy/fruit sauces.

    Building the Drink

    1. Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2oz) into your cup, or brew a strong coffee/moka pot equivalent.
    2. Stir in 1 tbsp of the maple white chocolate sauce and 1 tbsp of the maple cranberry orange sauce while the espresso is hot.
    3. Steam or froth 8oz of whole milk (or full-fat oat milk) to about 150°F and pour over the espresso mixture.
    4. Top with whipped cream (real, not canned) and a few dried cranberry pieces if you want the full café look.
Café Cranberry Orange White Mocha vs. This Version, Honestly Compared
Café grande cranberry orange white mocha (holiday-menu pricing)$7.00
Home Ingredient-Honest Cranberry Orange White Mocha~$1.45
    Savings per drink$5.55

Both bases together cost about $16.40 total to make (~$7.44 for the Maple White Chocolate Sauce batch, ~$8.96 for the Maple Cranberry Orange Sauce batch) — real maple syrup and real fruit push this the priciest of the three tiers.

Assumptions: grande-size drink, holiday/seasonal specialty-menu café pricing, real maple syrup at typical grocery pricing, fresh or dried cranberries and real orange at typical grocery pricing. The $7.00 café baseline is the average of two real, dated receipts (9/29/2026) from two different store locations — $6.90 and $7.10 — for a grande hot seasonal specialty drink, not a modeled national average.

Why This Costs More Than the Other Two Tiers (and Why That’s Fine)

Real maple syrup and real fruit cost more per serving than sugar or a sugar-free sweetener, so this tier’s savings run behind the Standard and Sugar-Free versions. What you’re paying the premium for is ingredient sourcing, not a cheaper drink.

    FAQ

Is this recipe actually lower in sugar than the Standard version?

Not meaningfully — maple syrup and cane sugar carry a similar amount of sugar per serving, and both versions include the same real cranberries. See the Sugar-Free Cranberry Orange White Mocha if sugar content is your priority.

Why is this version more expensive than the other two?

Real maple syrup and real fruit cost more per serving than sugar, a sugar-free sweetener, or a shelf-stable compote would. It’s still a large saving over the café version.

Do I need to make both bases every time?

No — each is its own recipe. Both keep about a week in the fridge, so this page is just the assembly step once both are made.
