Uses White Mocha Sauce — make a batch ahead of time; it keeps in the fridge for a week or two, so you won't need to make it again for every drink.
Ingredients & steps
StandardWritten hot. Switch to see the iced version's ingredients and steps.
Ingredients
- 2oz espresso (or 1/3 cup strong coffee/moka pot equivalent)
- 8oz milk, steamed or frothed
- 1 tbsp White Mocha Sauce (make a batch ahead of time -- it's a fresh-cream sauce, so it only keeps about 1 week in the fridge)
- 1 tbsp Cranberry Orange Sauce (make a batch ahead of time -- it also only keeps about 1 week, since it's made with real fruit and cream)
- Optional: whipped cream and a few dried cranberry pieces for topping
Steps
- 1.Make a batch each of White Mocha Sauce and Cranberry Orange Sauce ahead of time if you haven't already -- both are fresh dairy/fruit sauces that only keep about a week, so time these batches to when you'll actually use them.
- 2.Pull a double shot of espresso (or brew strong coffee) directly into your serving cup.
- 3.Stir in 1 tbsp of the white mocha sauce and 1 tbsp of the cranberry orange sauce while the espresso is still hot, until both are fully combined -- same 2 tbsp total flavoring as any other latte on the site, just split between the two.
- 4.Steam or froth 8oz of milk to about 150°F and pour over the espresso mixture.
- 5.Top with whipped cream and a few dried cranberry pieces if using. Serve immediately.

A cranberry orange white mocha pairs our Cranberry Orange Latte with our White Mocha — real tart cranberry and orange against a genuinely sweet white chocolate sauce. This is one of the rare combos on this site with a documented real-world precedent: Starbucks has paired cranberry orange flavoring with their white mocha sauce on seasonal holiday menus. No third jar to build: just 1 tablespoon each of two bases you may already keep on hand.
Make Both Bases First (Just Once)
This recipe assumes you already have a jar each of White Mocha Sauce and Cranberry Orange Sauce in the fridge — both fresh dairy/fruit sauces that only keep about a week, each making about 12 drinks’ worth. If you’re building your first jar of either, go make that one first, then come back here.
Building the Drink
- Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2oz) directly into your cup, or brew a strong coffee/moka pot equivalent.
- Stir in 1 tbsp of the white mocha sauce and 1 tbsp of the cranberry orange sauce while the espresso is still hot — same 2 tbsp of total flavoring as any single-flavor latte on this site, just split between the two jars instead of doubled up on one.
- Steam or froth 8oz of milk to about 150°F (see How to Make a Latte at Home for the full technique) and pour it over the espresso mixture.
- Top with whipped cream and a few dried cranberry pieces if you want the full café look.
Both bases together cost about $7.08 total to make (~$3.24 for the White Mocha Sauce batch, ~$3.84 for the Cranberry Orange Sauce batch), and each batch covers about 12 drinks on its own — just plan to use both within about a week, since neither base keeps longer than that.
Assumptions: grande-size drink, holiday/seasonal specialty-menu pricing for a two-flavor combo drink (cranberry-flavor drinks tend to run at the top of a café’s seasonal menu), dairy milk, $16/lb specialty beans or equivalent grocery beans. Unlike a real café’s seasonal window, there’s no calendar limit on the home version — at 5 cranberry orange white mochas a week over the site’s standard 48-week year, that’s roughly $1,411/year back in your pocket versus the café version. The $7.00 café baseline is the average of two real, dated receipts (9/29/2026) from two different store locations — $6.90 and $7.10 — for a grande hot seasonal specialty drink, not a modeled national average.
Swaps & Notes
- No espresso machine? A moka pot or strong AeroPress shot works fine.
- Want it more tart or more chocolate-forward? Shift the ratio — 1.5 tbsp cranberry orange sauce + 0.5 tbsp white mocha sauce leans tart, or the reverse leans sweeter/creamier. The cost and calorie math above assumes an even 1:1 split.
- Only have one of the two bases made? This drink genuinely needs both — if you’re out of one, make the plain Cranberry Orange Latte or plain White Mocha instead rather than doubling up on whichever jar you have.
- Watching sugar? See the Sugar-Free Cranberry Orange White Mocha for the same 1 tbsp each method with a lower-sugar build.
- Iced version: use the Hot/Iced toggle above the ingredients to switch — less milk (about 4oz cold over ice instead of 8oz steamed), same method as every other iced drink on the site.

FAQ
Is this a real café drink or something you made up?
It’s grounded in a real one — Starbucks has run cranberry orange flavoring alongside their white mocha sauce on holiday seasonal menus, which is exactly the kind of limited-window drink that’s worth building at home year-round instead of waiting for it to reappear each winter.
Do I need to make a whole new syrup for this?
No — it uses 1 tbsp each of the White Mocha Sauce and Cranberry Orange Sauce you’d make for our plain White Mocha and Cranberry Orange Latte recipes.
Why do both bases only keep about a week?
Both are fresh dairy sauces — the cranberry orange sauce also has real fruit in it — so neither keeps as long as the site’s cane-sugar-only syrups. Plan your batch sizes around using both within about a week.
Can I make this without an espresso machine?
Yes — a moka pot, AeroPress, or even strong drip coffee works. See How to Make a Latte at Home for the no-machine method.
