Harvest Spiced Chai
Uses Chai Concentrate — make a batch ahead of time; it keeps in the fridge for a week or two, so you won't need to make it again for every drink.
Ingredients & steps
StandardIngredients
- 4oz Chai Concentrate (make a batch ahead of time -- it keeps about 1 week in the fridge)
- 2 tbsp Coconut Chai Syrup (make a batch ahead of time -- it keeps about 1 week in the fridge)
- Ice (enough to fill a 16oz glass)
- Marshmallow Cold Foam (1 batch, whipped fresh)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar + 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, mixed, for a cinnamon-sugar dusting
Steps
- 1.Make a batch each of Chai Concentrate and Coconut Chai Syrup ahead of time if you haven't already.
- 2.Warm the chai concentrate until hot, then stir in the coconut chai syrup until fully combined.
- 3.Fill a 16oz glass with ice and pour the warm concentrate-syrup mixture over it to flash-chill.
- 4.Whip the Marshmallow Cold Foam fresh and pour it over the back of a spoon on top so it floats.
- 5.Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it over the foam just before serving. Serve immediately with a straw.

This stacks three real techniques this site already has, rather than inventing one vague “harvest spice” syrup to carry the whole flavor: our tea-based Chai Concentrate for the backbone, a real Coconut Chai Syrup for richness, Marshmallow Cold Foam on top, and a real cinnamon-sugar dusting to finish.
Why Two Chai Bases Instead of One
Our Chai Concentrate is a thin, tea-forward liquid — it carries the caffeine and the core spice flavor, but on its own it isn’t rich or coconut-forward. Coconut Chai Syrup is a genuinely different build (full-fat coconut milk simmered with whole spices, no tea at all) that adds the creamy, dairy-free richness this specific drink needs. Using both together — rather than trying to make one syrup do both jobs — keeps each technique doing what it’s actually good at.
Building the Drink
- Warm 4oz Chai Concentrate, then stir in 2 tbsp Coconut Chai Syrup until combined.
- Fill a 16oz glass with ice and pour the warm mixture over it.
- Whip the Marshmallow Cold Foam fresh and float it on top.
- Mix 1 tbsp sugar with 1/4 tsp cinnamon and sprinkle it over the foam right before serving — see our plating guide for more on this cinnamon-sugar technique.
Assumptions: grande-size drink, national-average 2026 pricing for this fall specialty item, black tea and pantry spices at typical grocery pricing, full-fat canned coconut milk at ~$1.69/can, heavy cream at this site’s standard $4.29/pint rate. This is a genuinely rich, high-calorie drink — three separate real toppings and bases stack up here, and we’d rather say that honestly than understate it.
Swaps & Notes
- Only have the plain Chai Concentrate made, not the coconut syrup yet? A plain Chai Latte is the fallback — it won’t carry the same coconut richness, but it’s a complete drink on its own.
- Want it lighter? Use half the Marshmallow Cold Foam, or skip the cinnamon-sugar dusting — the chai and coconut syrup still carry real flavor without either.
- This is written iced on purpose — floated cold foam doesn’t translate to a hot build the same way.

FAQ
Why two different chai bases instead of just using more Chai Concentrate?
Because they do different jobs — the Chai Concentrate is a thin tea infusion carrying the caffeine and core spice; the Coconut Chai Syrup is a separate, richer coconut-milk reduction. Using more of the concentrate alone wouldn’t deliver the same creamy body.
Is this drink really over 500 calories?
Yes, and we’re not rounding that down — it stacks a real coconut-milk syrup, a cream-based marshmallow cold foam, and a sugar dusting, each contributing real calories. If that’s more than you want, see the lighter-build note above.
Do I need to make both syrups every time?
No — both the Chai Concentrate and Coconut Chai Syrup keep about a week in the fridge, so you can batch them ahead. Only the Marshmallow Cold Foam needs to be whipped fresh each time.
