White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha Frappé
Uses White Mocha Sauce — make a batch ahead of time; it keeps in the fridge for a week or two, so you won't need to make it again for every drink.
Ingredients & steps
StandardIngredients
- 2oz espresso, freshly pulled (or 1/3 cup strong coffee/cold brew)
- 2 tbsp White Mocha Sauce (make a batch ahead of time -- it keeps about 1 week in the fridge)
- 1/16 tsp (a few drops) pure peppermint extract -- not peppermint oil, which is much stronger
- 1.5 cups ice (about 10-12 standard cubes)
- 4oz cold whole milk (or full-fat oat milk)
- Optional: whipped cream and crushed candy cane or white chocolate shavings for topping
Steps
- 1.Make a batch of White Mocha Sauce ahead of time if you haven't already -- it keeps about 1 week in the fridge.
- 2.Pull a double shot of espresso (or brew strong coffee/cold brew) -- no need to cool it first.
- 3.Add the espresso, white mocha sauce, peppermint extract, ice, and cold whole milk (or full-fat oat milk) to a blender -- start with less peppermint than you think you need, it's potent and easy to over-pour.
- 4.Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth and slushy with no ice chunks left.
- 5.Pour into a 16oz glass, top with whipped cream and crushed candy cane or white chocolate shavings if using, and serve immediately with a straw.

This is not the same drink as our dark Copycat Peppermint Mocha family — our White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha uses White Mocha Sauce (real white chocolate melted with cream, no cocoa solids) with a few drops of peppermint extract added straight to the espresso. This blends that same build with milk and ice into a frappé instead of pouring it over cubes.
Make the Sauce First (Just Once)
This recipe assumes you already have a jar of White Mocha Sauce in the fridge — a 15-minute batch that makes about 12 drinks’ worth and keeps about a week. If you haven’t made a batch yet, make that first, then come back here.
Building the Frappé
- Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2oz), or brew strong coffee/cold brew instead.
- Add the espresso, 2 tbsp of the white mocha sauce, a few drops (about 1/16 tsp) of pure peppermint extract, 1.5 cups of ice, and 4oz cold whole milk (or full-fat oat milk) to a blender. Start light — peppermint extract is potent and varies in strength by brand.
- Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth and slushy.
- Pour into a 16oz glass, top with whipped cream and crushed candy cane or white chocolate shavings if using, and serve immediately with a straw.
The sauce batch itself is a one-time ~$3.20 and makes about 12 drinks — the same jar behind the latte version. The peppermint extract adds only a few cents per drink at this dose.
Assumptions: grande-size blended drink, national-average seasonal specialty pricing (these run at or above the darker Copycat Peppermint Mocha family most chains also sell in the same window), whole milk, real white chocolate and cream at typical grocery pricing, pure peppermint extract at typical grocery pricing. This one’s genuinely seasonal — figure roughly 8-9 weeks of Nov-Dec availability, same window as the latte version. At 3 of these a week across that window (24-27 drinks), that’s roughly $147-$166 saved for the season.
Swaps & Notes
- No espresso machine? Strong cold brew or a moka pot shot both work fine.
- Too strong on the peppermint? Blend in a splash of extra milk rather than remaking the whole batch weaker.
- This drink costs more than a plain chocolate Mocha Frappé, for the same reason White Mocha costs more than Mocha — real white chocolate and cream cost more than cocoa powder and sugar.
- Prefer it poured over ice instead of blended? See the White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha and use its Hot/Iced toggle.
- Watching sugar? See the Sugar-Free White Mocha Sauce and add the same peppermint dose to it, blended with ice yourself.

FAQ
Is this the same as your Copycat Peppermint Mocha Frappé?
No. The Copycat Peppermint Mocha family uses our dark cocoa Mocha Sauce with peppermint blended into the sauce batch itself. This recipe uses White Mocha Sauce (real white chocolate and cream, no cocoa) with peppermint extract added per drink instead.
Do I need to make the sauce every time I want this drink?
No — one batch of White Mocha Sauce covers about 12 drinks over about a week. This page is just the blend step, plus the peppermint addition.
Can I make this without a blender?
Yes — the iced White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha uses the exact same espresso, milk, sauce, and peppermint quantities poured over ice instead of blended.
