Make Both Bases First (Just Once)

This recipe assumes you already have a jar each of Sugar-Free Tiramisu Sauce and Sugar-Free Hazelnut Syrup in the fridge. The tiramisu sauce keeps about a week (real mascarpone); the hazelnut syrup keeps a full 2 weeks.

    Building the Drink

    1. Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2oz) into your cup, or brew a strong coffee/moka pot equivalent.
    2. Stir in 1 tbsp of the sugar-free tiramisu sauce and 1 tbsp of the sugar-free hazelnut syrup while the espresso is hot.
    3. Steam or froth 8oz of milk (dairy or an unsweetened alternative) to about 150°F and pour over the espresso mixture.
    4. Top with sugar-free whipped cream, cocoa powder, and chopped toasted hazelnuts if you want the full café look.
Cost and Sugar, Home vs. Café
    Home sugar-free hazelnut tiramisu latte~$1.16
Café grande hazelnut tiramisu latte (regular, specialty-menu pricing)$6.35
    Savings per drink$5.19

Both bases together cost about $6.19 total to make (~$2.59 for the Sugar-Free Tiramisu Sauce batch, ~$3.60 for the Sugar-Free Hazelnut Syrup batch).

Assumptions: grande-size drink, national-average specialty-menu café pricing, monk fruit/allulose sweetener at typical grocery/bulk pricing, real mascarpone (unsweetened by design either way).

    Sugar-Free Hazelnut Tiramisu Latte

    FAQ

Do I need to make the sauce and syrup every time I want this drink?

No — each base is its own recipe. The tiramisu sauce keeps about a week and the hazelnut syrup a full 2 weeks, so this page is just the 5-minute assembly step.

How much sugar does this actually save me?

A café hazelnut tiramisu latte carries the sugar load of both a mascarpone sauce and a flavored syrup, often 35-40g in a grande. This version has close to zero from either base.

Can I mix a Standard base with a Sugar-Free base?

You can, if you only have one of the two made — it’ll shift the sugar and cost math toward whichever base is Standard, but the drink still works.
