This is the site’s first cheesecake-flavored drink — a real cheesecake-extract syrup combined with Caramel Syrup, since caramel is one of the most common real-world cheesecake toppings. Once both bases are made, the drink itself is a 2-minute assembly.

Two Real Bases, Not a New Fused Syrup

This drink combines two syrups: 1 tbsp Cheesecake Syrup and 1 tbsp Caramel Syrup, split evenly — the same pattern this site already uses for Cookie Butter Caramel Latte and Toasted Coconut Caramel Latte. No new combined syrup needed, and if you’d rather have the cheesecake flavor on its own without caramel, you can use 2 tbsp of just the Cheesecake Syrup instead — see Swaps & Notes.

    Building the Latte

    1. Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2oz) directly into your cup, or brew a strong coffee/moka pot equivalent.
    2. Stir in 1 tbsp Cheesecake Syrup and 1 tbsp Caramel Syrup while the espresso is still hot.
    3. Steam or froth 8oz of milk to about 150°F and pour it over the espresso mixture.
    4. Top with whipped cream, a caramel drizzle, and a few graham cracker crumbs if you want the full dessert-drink look.
Specialty-Shop Caramel Cheesecake Latte vs. Home Version
Specialty-shop grande caramel cheesecake latte (tax included)$6.50
Home caramel cheesecake latte (espresso, milk, both bases)~$0.89
    Savings per drink$5.61

Assumptions: grande-size drink, specialty-menu pricing for a two-flavor dessert-style drink, dairy milk, $16/lb specialty beans or equivalent grocery beans. At 5 drinks a week over the site’s standard 48-week year, that’s roughly $1,346/year back in your pocket.

    Swaps & Notes

    • No espresso machine? A moka pot or strong AeroPress shot works fine.
    • Want it plain cheesecake, no caramel? Use 2 tbsp Cheesecake Syrup on its own instead of splitting with caramel — same method, just skip the second syrup.
    • Want it more cheesecake-forward or more caramel-forward? Shift the ratio to 1.5 tbsp of one and 0.5 tbsp of the other.
    • Iced version: use the Hot/Iced toggle above the ingredients to switch — less milk (about 4oz cold over ice instead of 8oz steamed), same method as every other iced drink on the site.

    Recipe Card Summary

    Caramel Cheesecake Latte

    • 2oz espresso + 8oz steamed milk + 1 tbsp Cheesecake Syrup + 1 tbsp Caramel Syrup (both made ahead)
    • Prep time: 5 minutes (after both bases are made) · Total: 5 minutes
    • Cost: ~$0.89/drink vs. ~$6.50 specialty-shop equivalent

    FAQ

Is this a real combination, or did you invent it?

Caramel is one of the most common real-world toppings for cheesecake desserts, which is why we paired these two syrups first for this site’s debut cheesecake drink — it’s a well-established dessert pairing, not an arbitrary one.

How is this different from just a Caramel Latte?

Caramel Latte has no cheesecake flavor at all — this drink adds a dedicated cheesecake-extract syrup (with a graham-cracker note and a touch of real lemon for tang) as a second real flavor layer.

Can I make the cheesecake flavor on its own, without caramel?

Yes — use 2 tbsp of just the Cheesecake Syrup in place of the 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp split. We paired it with caramel first since that’s the most common real-world combination, but the base syrup works fine on its own.
