This is a real, named recipe: Seattle Coffee Gear publishes a “Caramel Cloud Latte” that steams mini marshmallows directly into the milk alongside caramel sauce and tops the drink with coconut flakes. This version combines this site’s own Caramel Syrup and Toasted Marshmallow Syrup.
Two Real Bases, Not a New Fused Syrup
This drink combines two syrups this site already has: 1 tbsp Caramel Syrup and 1 tbsp Toasted Marshmallow Syrup, split evenly, instead of melting whole marshmallows into the milk the way the source recipe does. No new syrup needed.
Building the Latte
- Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2oz) directly into your cup, or brew a strong coffee/moka pot equivalent.
- Stir in 1 tbsp Caramel Syrup and 1 tbsp Toasted Marshmallow Syrup while the espresso is still hot.
- Steam or froth 8oz of milk to about 150°F and pour it over the espresso mixture.
Assumptions: grande-size flavored latte, chain pricing, dairy milk, $16/lb specialty beans or equivalent grocery beans. At 5 drinks a week over the site’s standard 48-week year, that’s roughly $1,337/year back in your pocket.
Swaps & Notes
- No espresso machine? A moka pot or strong AeroPress shot works fine.
- Want it more caramel-forward or more marshmallow-forward? Shift the ratio to 1.5 tbsp of one and 0.5 tbsp of the other.
- Watching sugar? Swap in Sugar-Free Caramel Syrup and/or Sugar-Free Toasted Marshmallow Syrup 1:1.

FAQ
Is this a real pairing, or did you invent it?
Real — Seattle Coffee Gear publishes a named Caramel Cloud Latte built on melted marshmallows and caramel sauce.
How is this different from your Marshmallow Pumpkin or Tiramisu Marshmallow Matcha Lattes?
Those pair Toasted Marshmallow Syrup with pumpkin spice and a matcha-tiramisu triple respectively; this drink pairs it with plain Caramel Syrup instead — a simpler, two-flavor version.
Can I use the sugar-free versions of either base?
Yes — swap in Sugar-Free Caramel Syrup and/or Sugar-Free Toasted Marshmallow Syrup 1:1; the ratios don’t change.
