Not medical or nutrition advice. Calorie figures on this page are estimates based on typical ingredient values, not a lab analysis of your exact batch — they'll shift with the brand of milk, syrup, or protein powder you actually use. "Ingredient-Honest" and "sugar-free" describe what's in the recipe, not a health claim. If you're managing diabetes, a caffeine sensitivity, pregnancy, or another condition, check with a doctor or dietitian before making a recipe part of your routine. Read the full disclaimer.

Same energy-drink build as our other energy Coolers — a real sugar-free energy drink for the caffeine, real muddled peaches standing in for a flavor syrup our own library doesn’t carry (it’s built for dessert flavors, not fruit). No coffee anywhere in this drink.

    Building the Drink

    1. Muddle 2oz peaches in the bottom of a 16oz glass.
    2. Fill the glass with ice.
    3. Pour in 8oz sugar-free energy drink and stir in 1 tbsp simple syrup.
Drive-Thru Peach Energy Drink vs. Home Version
    Drive-thru peach energy drink (16oz, tax included)~$6.50
Home version (energy drink, peaches, syrup)~$1.79
    Savings per drink$4.71

Assumptions: a 16oz drive-thru energy drink (pricing varies by region and chain), a single sugar-free energy drink can, frozen peaches, and homemade simple syrup at typical grocery pricing. At 5 of these a week over the site’s standard 48-week year, that’s roughly $1,130/year back in your pocket versus buying it out.

    Swaps & Notes

    • Fresh peaches work too when they’re in season — just dice and muddle the same way, no need to thaw.
    • Buying energy drinks by the case typically brings the per-can cost down, worth it if this becomes a regular order.
    • Want the caffeine-free version? See our Peach Green Tea Lemonade — same peach flavor, tea-and-lemonade based instead.

    FAQ

How much caffeine does this have?

Roughly 130-135mg from the 8oz portion of a typical 200mg/12oz sugar-free energy drink, in the range of a strong double espresso shot — exact amounts vary by brand.

Can I use a flavored energy drink instead of a plain one?

Yes — a peach or other fruit-flavored sugar-free energy drink actually reinforces the flavor here rather than competing with it. Plain/unflavored works fine too.

Is this the same recipe as the Peach Green Tea Lemonade?

Same peach flavor idea, different everything else — that recipe uses brewed green tea and bottled lemonade with no energy drink or added caffeine beyond the tea. This one swaps in a canned energy drink as the base instead.
