Not medical or nutrition advice. Calorie figures on this page are estimates based on typical ingredient values, not a lab analysis of your exact batch — they'll shift with the brand of milk, syrup, or protein powder you actually use. "Clean-ingredient" and "sugar-free" describe what's in the recipe, not a health claim. If you're managing diabetes, a caffeine sensitivity, pregnancy, or another condition, check with a doctor or dietitian before making a recipe part of your routine. Read the full disclaimer.
Real fresh cranberries, reduced into a maple compote, folded into a real white chocolate baking bar sauce – this is the whole-ingredient take on our own cranberry-orange-white-chocolate latte. To be upfront: this is our own drink built around that flavor idea, not a recreation of any specific café’s bakery item.
Why This One’s a More Meaningful Upgrade
Our Clean-Ingredient White Mocha is the smallest upgrade in our Clean-Ingredient lineup, because white chocolate is inherently sugar-heavy no matter how it’s sourced – there’s no whole-food version of it. This drink is different. Real fresh or frozen cranberries are a genuine whole fruit, tart enough on their own to stand in for some of the sweetness a recipe would otherwise lean on white chocolate or added sugar for. So instead of just upgrading to a real white chocolate baking bar (which is still part of the story here), the Maple Cranberry Bliss Sauce behind this drink also replaces the Standard sauce’s dried cranberries with real fresh or frozen ones, reduced into a maple-sweetened compote. It’s still not a low-sugar recipe – real maple syrup and real white chocolate both carry meaningful sugar – but the fruit is doing real work here, not just riding along as flavoring.
Make the Sauce First (Just Once)
This recipe assumes you already have a jar of Maple Cranberry Bliss Sauce in the fridge – a 35-minute batch (mostly compote, steeping, and cooling) that makes about 14 drinks’ worth and keeps about a week. If you haven’t made a batch yet, make that first, then come back here.
Building the Drink
- Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2oz) into your cup, or brew a strong coffee/moka pot equivalent.
- Stir in 2 tbsp of the maple cranberry bliss sauce while the espresso is hot, until fully melted in.
- Steam or froth 8oz of whole milk (or full-fat oat milk) to about 150°F and pour over the espresso mixture.
- Top with whipped cream, a few fresh cranberries, and a pinch of orange zest if you want the full holiday-café look.
The sauce batch itself is a one-time ~$8.90 and makes about 14 drinks – see the full sauce recipe for the method and cost breakdown, which comes out to roughly $0.64 per drink in sauce alone.
Assumptions: grande-size drink, national-average café pricing for a seasonal white-chocolate specialty latte (this flavor combo isn’t a literal menu item at most chains, so this compares against the closest real seasonal analog rather than a named drink), whole milk, a real white chocolate baking bar, fresh or frozen cranberries, and real maple syrup at typical grocery/specialty pricing. This is the priciest of our three Cranberry Bliss tiers – but it also makes the most servings per batch of the three, which softens the per-drink gap, and at 5 of these a week across the roughly 8-week Nov-Dec season, that’s still about $180 back in your pocket versus café pricing.
An Honest Note on Sugar
Real fruit doing real work here doesn’t mean this is a lower-sugar drink – it isn’t. Real maple syrup and real white chocolate both carry meaningful sugar, so this version runs similar to or slightly higher than the Standard Cranberry Bliss Latte on sugar and calories. If lower sugar is the actual priority, see the Sugar-Free Cranberry Bliss Latte instead – this tier is for readers who want real, whole ingredients (real fruit, real maple, a real baking bar) over better sourcing on sugar content specifically.

FAQ
Is this a real café menu drink?
Not a literal one – it’s our own latte built around a cranberry-orange-white-chocolate flavor combo that’s common on holiday dessert menus, not a copy of any specific chain’s bakery item or drink.
Is this actually lower in sugar than the Standard version?
No – it’s similar or slightly higher, since real maple syrup and real white chocolate both carry meaningful sugar. “Clean-ingredient” here means real, whole ingredients rather than lower sugar. If lower sugar is your goal, see the Sugar-Free Cranberry Bliss Latte instead.
Do I need to make the sauce every time I want this drink?
No – one batch keeps about a week in the fridge and covers roughly 14 drinks, so this page is just the 5-minute assembly step.
