Same drink, three ways. Clean-Ingredient is our top recommendation -- Standard and Sugar-Free are the other options.

Uses Cranberry Bliss Sauce (Standard) — make a batch ahead of time; it keeps in the fridge for a week or two, so you won't need to make it again for every drink.

Ingredients & steps

Standard

Written hot. Switch to see the iced version's ingredients and steps.

Ingredients

  • 2oz espresso (or 1/3 cup strong coffee/moka pot equivalent)
  • 8oz whole milk (or full-fat oat milk), steamed or frothed
  • 2 tbsp Cranberry Bliss Sauce (make a batch ahead of time -- it keeps about 1 week in the fridge)
  • Optional: whipped cream, a few extra dried cranberries, and a pinch of orange zest for topping

Steps

  1. 1.Make a batch of Cranberry Bliss Sauce ahead of time if you haven't already -- it keeps about 1 week in the fridge, so this is a once-a-week step, not a per-drink one.
  2. 2.Pull a double shot of espresso (or brew strong coffee) directly into your serving cup.
  3. 3.Stir in 2 tbsp of the cranberry bliss sauce while the espresso is hot until fully combined.
  4. 4.Steam or froth 8oz of whole milk or full-fat oat milk to about 150°F and pour over the espresso mixture.
  5. 5.Top with whipped cream, a few extra dried cranberries, and a pinch of orange zest if using. Serve immediately.

Cranberry, orange, and white chocolate is a flavor combo that shows up on holiday dessert menus every November – we turned it into a latte. To be upfront: this is our own drink built around that flavor idea, not a recreation of any specific café’s bakery item. Once the sauce is made, assembling the drink takes about 2 minutes.

Make the Sauce First (Just Once)

This recipe assumes you already have a jar of Cranberry Bliss Sauce in the fridge – a 25-minute batch (mostly steeping and cooling) that makes about 12 drinks’ worth and keeps about a week. If you haven’t made a batch yet, make that first, then come back here.

Building the Drink

  1. Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2oz) into your cup, or brew a strong coffee/moka pot equivalent.
  2. Stir in 2 tbsp of the cranberry bliss sauce while the espresso is hot, until fully melted in.
  3. Steam or froth 8oz of whole milk (or full-fat oat milk) to about 150°F and pour over the espresso mixture.
  4. Top with whipped cream, a few extra dried cranberries, and a pinch of orange zest if you want the full holiday-café look.
Café Seasonal Specialty Latte vs. Home Version
Café grande seasonal white-chocolate specialty latte$6.15
Home Cranberry Bliss Latte (espresso, milk, sauce)~$1.14
Savings per drink$5.01

The sauce batch itself is a one-time ~$3.85 and makes about 12 drinks – see the full sauce recipe for the method and cost breakdown, which comes out to roughly $0.32 per drink in sauce alone.

Assumptions: grande-size drink, national-average café pricing for a seasonal white-chocolate specialty latte (this flavor combo isn’t a literal menu item at most chains, so this compares against the closest real seasonal analog rather than a named drink), whole milk, white chocolate, dried cranberries, and fresh orange at typical grocery pricing. This one has a real seasonal ceiling – it’s a Nov-Dec flavor, the same roughly 8-week window as our Gingerbread Latte – but at 5 cranberry bliss lattes a week across that window, that’s still about $200 back in your pocket for the season versus café pricing, and the homemade sauce keeps working past the point any seasonal menu pulls the flavor.

Swaps & Notes

  • No espresso machine? A moka pot or strong AeroPress shot works fine.
  • This drink costs more per serving than our plain syrup-based lattes (vanilla, caramel), and that’s honest – real white chocolate, dried cranberries, and fresh citrus all cost more than sugar and water.
  • Watching sugar? This is the classic-flavor version. If you want the same drink with less or no sugar, see the Sugar-Free Cranberry Bliss Latte (read its honest note on why that’s a harder swap than it sounds) or the Clean-Ingredient Cranberry Bliss Latte (real fresh cranberries and real maple, though worth reading its note too).
  • Iced version: use the Hot/Iced toggle above the ingredients to switch – less milk (about 4oz cold over ice instead of 8oz steamed), same reasoning as our other iced lattes.

Recipe Card Summary

  • Prep time: 5 minutes (after the sauce is made) · Total: 5 minutes
  • Cost: ~$1.14/drink vs. ~$6.15 café equivalent

FAQ

Is this a real café menu drink?

Not a literal one – it’s our own latte built around a cranberry-orange-white-chocolate flavor combo that’s common on holiday dessert menus, not a copy of any specific chain’s bakery item or drink.

Do I need to make the sauce every time I want this drink?

No – that’s why it’s its own recipe now. One batch keeps about a week in the fridge and covers roughly 12 drinks, so this page is just the 5-minute assembly step.

How long is Cranberry Bliss actually in season?

Like our Gingerbread Latte, this is mainly a Nov-Dec flavor at cafés that run seasonal menus. The homemade sauce doesn’t care what month it is, though – nothing stops you from making it in July.
